The new Broadway production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos, featuring Stephanie J. Block, Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, Anthony Rosenthal, Tracie Thoms, Brandon Uranowitz, and Betsy Wolfe, begins previews Thursday, September 29 and opens Thursday, October 27.

Lincoln Center Theater's new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos will begin previews Thursday, September 29, and run for 14 weeks only at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street). The company will include Anthony Rosenthal (as Jason), Tracie Thoms(as Dr. Charlotte), Brandon Uranowitz (as Mendel), Betsy Wolfe (as Cordelia), Stephanie J. Block(as Trina), Christian Borle (as Marvin), and Andrew Rannells (as Whizzer).

On Monday, September 14th, The National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) will present a one-night-only all Asian-American performance of Terrence McNally's LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION!, directed by Alan Muraoka, at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) to benefit NAATCO. Joe Mantello, the original director of LOVE! VALOUR! COMPASSION! and Stephen Bogardus, a member of the play's original cast, were honorary chairs for the NAATCO benefit performance.

Previews are now underway at Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) for the New York premiere of Our House, a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Theresa Rebeck (The Butterfly Collection and Bad Dates at Playwrights Horizons, Broadway's Mauritius, co-author of Omnium Gatherum). A scathing new comedy that shakes up Reality TV, Our House is the final production of the theater company's 2008/2009 Season.

Ann Harada, John Tartaglia and Stephanie D'Abruzzo - who were among the original cast members of the long-running Broadway hit Avenue Q - were on hand to celebrate the opening of the National Asian American Theatre Company's production of Falsettoland on Sunday, June 17 at The Dimson Theatre

William Finn's modern classic musical Falsettoland, about a an extended family of gay, straight and bisexual New Yorkers preparing for a son's bar mitzvah, will be presented by the Obie Award-winning National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) in June 2007 in NYC.
