Primary Stages launches their 29th season with the New York premiere of Harbor by Tony-nominated writer Chad Beguelin (Elf, The Wedding Singer). Directed by Tony-nominated director Mark Lamos (Seascape, The Rivals, The Deep Blue Sea), the production features Erin Cummings (Starz's 'Spartacus: Blood and Sand', CBS' 'Made In Jersey'), Randy Harrison (Showtime's 'Queer As Folk', Broadway's Wicked), Alexis Molnar (world premiere of Harbor at Westport Playhouse), and Paul Anthony Stewart (Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof, The People in the Picture). Everyman Theatre closes its historic 2012/13 season with a staging of the rarely produced comedic gem, The Beaux' Stratagem. Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi directs the production, which features a large cast of 15 actors and includes Resident Company Members Megan Anderson, Clinton Brandhagen and Bruce Randolph Nelson. Everyman moved into its brand new theatre in January of this year. The production will run now through June 30th. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the production photos below!

Westport Country Playhouse's five-play 2013 season will open with A.R. Gurney's 'The Dining Room,' a witty and heartfelt story of the American family and its vanishing traditions, directed by Mark Lamos, now through May 18. Atlantic Theater Company has just announced that the New York premiere of Rolin Jones' comedy The Jammer, directed by Jackson Gay, has now been extended through Sunday, February 17 in advance of its opening last night, Tuesday, January 22. Check out photos from the festivities below!

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Interim Executive Director Joey Parnes) will begin previews for KING LEAR, directed by James Macdonald, on Tuesday, October 18. KING LEAR will run through Sunday, November 20 in The Public's Newman Theater with an official press opening on Tuesday, November 8.

Yesterday, June 27, Lincoln Center Theater opened A. R. Gurney's new play, THE GRAND MANNER, directed by Mark Lamos, at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 W. 65 Street). Kate Burton, Boyd Gaines, Bobby Steggert and Brenda Wehle comprise the four character cast of this world premiere production. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the opening night celebration.

Skyline Theatre Company is bringing Broadway to Bergen County this holiday season with Jim Stanek starring in their benefit staging of It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Saturday December 12th, at 2:00pm and 7:30pm at the Fair Lawn Community Center's George Frey Center for Arts and Recreation.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) continues its 2008/2009 Season with the New York premiere of THE SAVANNAH DISPUTATION, a new play by Evan Smith (Psych and The Uneasy Chair at Playwrights Horizons, Remedial English for the Young Playwrights Festival at Playwrights Horizons, Servicemen at The New Group). This will be Mr. Smith's fourth collaboration with the theater company. Directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie (Chicago, New Jerusalem), in his Playwrights Horizons debut, the production will began previews on Friday, February 6, 2009 with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, March 3 at 7PM. The limited engagement will run through Sunday, March 15 at Playwrights Horizons' Mainstage Theater (416 West 42nd Street).

Berkeley Repertory Theatre greets the new year by proudly presenting its 50th world premiere, a new comedy about marriage, intimacy, and electricity from the creators of Eurydice. Celebrated playwright Sarah Ruhl and Obie Award-winning director Les Waters come together again for the debut of In the Next Room (or the vibrator play). Commissioned by Berkeley Rep and staged in the state-of-the-art Roda Theatre, this hotly anticipated play begins previews on January 30, opens February 4, and closes March 15. BART and Wells Fargo serve as season sponsors for Berkeley Rep's 41st year of fearless theatre, and the executive producer for this show is the Strauch Kulhanjian Family.
