Clinton Greenspan will star in the title role in the North American touring production of Disney's Aladdin starting on April 7 in Denver, where the hit Broadway musical will play a limited three-week engagement at The Buell Theatre through April 28.  Greenspan, who previously understudied the iconic role on tour, succeeds original Broadway and tour star Adam Jacobs, who will play his final performance as 'Aladdin' on March 31 in Los Angeles at The Hollywood Pantages Theatre.

Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey, today announces the full cast for a major revival of Jim Cartwright's The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Opening in the Anthony Hopkins Theatre on Tuesday 10 October, with previews from Thursday 5 October, the company will be led by Theatr Clwyd Associate, Catrin Aaron, in the lead role of Little Voice. She will be joined by Victoria John (Sadie), Christian Patterson (Mr Boo/Phone Man), Nicola Reynolds (Mari Hoff), Simon Holland Roberts (Ray Say) and Joseph Tweedale (Billy). The production sees Co-Artistic Director of Out Of Joint Theatre, Kate Wasserberg, return to Theatr Clwyd to direct.

Kicking off the 2017-2018 Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) season is Arthur Miller's The Crucible, directed by Jonathan Berry. Steppenwolf Education presents this American classic as part of the SYA season which asks, When does a lie become the truth? Public performances for The Crucible are Saturday, October 7 at 3pm and 7:30pm; Sunday, October 8 at 3pm; Friday, October 13 at 7:30pm; Saturday, October 14 at 3pm and 7:30pm; and Saturday, October 21 at 3pm and 7:30pm in the Downstairs Theatre. The press performance is Saturday, October 7 at 3pm. Weekday performances are reserved for school groups only. Arena Stage announces full casting for Lillian Hellman's Watch on the Rhine, winner of the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Play. Four-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Marsha Mason, known for her performances in the films Cinderella Liberty, The Goodbye Girl, Chapter Two and Only When I Laugh, stars as Fanny Farrelly under esteemed director Jackie Maxwell, former artistic director of Canada's Shaw Festival. Set in Washington, D.C. on the brink of U.S. involvement in World War II, Hellman's suspenseful drama was hailed by the Chicago Tribune as "dramatically gripping and genuinely moving." Watch on the Rhine runs February 3-March 5, 2017 in the Fichandler Stage.
