Fun Home on Stage Videos - US Tour

The Curran today released a music video of the song 'Ring of Keys,' from the Tony Award-winning musical Fun Home, which will re-open the Curran this January after an extensive renovation that is currently underway (and pictured in scenes from the video). The song, written by Tony Award-winners Lisa Kron and Jeanine Tesori, and performed by students from Oakland School for the Arts (OSA), is in celebration and support of GLAAD and 'Spirit Day' on October 20, 2016, a day that encourages all to take a stand against bullying of LGBTQ youth and wear purple. After 582 regular performances and 26 previews, the groundbreaking musical Fun Home closed on Broadway on September 10, 2016. Following a successful Off-Broadway run at the Public Theater, the bio-musical about Alison Bechdel and her family opened to immediate critical and audience acclaim. Today, the company of FUN HOME wanted to say one last thank you to their fans for their incredible run by making a video, created by Perry Sherman, to Anna Kendrick's 'When I'm Gone'.

On September 10, the Bechdel family will move out of the Fun Home (or the Circle in the Square Theatre), when the the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, plays its final performance on Broadway. Before the doors close for good, however, BroadwayWorld brought the family together one last time to reminisce about some of the show's most amazing moments. Last night FUN HOME's Tony Award-winning star Michael Cerveris, who was raised in West Virginia, presented a very special concert to benefit the rebuilding efforts of West Virginians in the wake of the historic floods of June 2016.

The best of Broadway will be performing FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2016' - a lunchtime series that continued this week, July 28 on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 16th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday.

The one-night, two-performance event benefits the rebuilding efforts of West Virginians in the wake of the historic floods of June 2016.

In 2016-2017, CBS will expand its comedy lineup, increasing the number of comedies from four to eight, compared to last fall, and programming two two-hour blocks on Mondays and Thursdays. Check out trailers below!

The company of Fun Home was runner-up for turning West Side Story's 'Gee Officer Krumpkee!' into a plea to Miranda to write a show for them. But they ultimately realized that they could control their own destinies by creating roles for themselves, just as Miranda has done. Watch their full performance below!

The 2016 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY National Ambassadors Kelli O'Hara and Marlee Matlin just announced that the 20th Kids' Night on Broadway will take place in New York City on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016, BroadwayWorld has confirmed.
