Three-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie and Daniel Dae Kim recently joined the Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

THE KING AND I's Daniel Dae Kim was the guest co-host on this morning's LIVE. The actor spoke about starring in the production, now playing at Lincoln Center, and shared a recent incident he had on stage involving a cell phone.

The 3-time Tony nominee makes her return to the stage after a bout with ovarian cancer with the TV star making his Broadway debut.

As previously reported, 3-time Tony Award nominee Marin Mazzie and Daniel Dae Kim will soon join the Tony Award-winning production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's The King and I beginning Tuesday, May 3 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater. To life! The Broadway revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is currently in previews, with an official opening slated for Sunday, December 20 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). FIDDLER ON THE ROOF is directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, who most recently helmed the 2015 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of The King and I. Sher has directed Burstein on Broadway in the revivals of Golden Boy and South Pacific, as well as in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. It will be choreographed byHofesh Shechter, inspired by the original choreography of Jerome Robbins, and the music director will be Ted Sperling (The King and I, South Pacific). How do you show viewers that a classic old musical can be new and exciting?

It's just a week before previews begin for the much-anticipated revival of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, and the cast is ready to go. BroadwayWorld's Randy Rainbow just checked in with Tevye's three oldest daughters (played by Alexandra Silber, Samantha Massell and Melanie Moore) and they gave him the scoop on what to expect from Bartlett Sher's latest project. The upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof will begin performances on Friday, November 20, 2015, with an official opening night on Sunday, December 20, 2015, at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). It will star Danny Burstein as Tevye, Jessica Hecht as Golde, Adam Dannheisser as Lazar Wolf, Adam Kantor as Motel, Alix Korey as Yente,Samantha Massell as Hodel, Melanie Moore as Chava, Ben Rappaport as Perchik, Nick Rehberger as Fyedka, Alexandra Silber as Tzeitel and more. The company met the press earlier today and BroadwayWorld was there for the special presentation. The Old Globe opens its 2015-2016 Season with IN YOUR ARMS, a World Premiere dance-theatre musical featuring direction and choreography by Tony Award winner Christopher Gattelli (Newsies, Godspell, Lincoln Center Theater's The King and I and South Pacific) and original music by Tony Award winner Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on This Island; two-time Oscar nominee for Anastasia).
