A Fable on Stage Videos - Off-Broadway

The Heart of Robin Hood comes to Broadway following productions in Winnipeg (November 11-December 6, 2014 at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre) and Toronto (December 23, 2014-March 1, 2015 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre). Every legendary hero has to start somewhere. In The Heart of Robin Hood, playwright David Farr presents a wildly imaginative, theatrically dazzling new spin on the familiar fable.

In April 2014, Artistic Director Vincent J. Cardinal announced that Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Leslie Uggamswould be starring as Rose in Connecticut Repertory Theatre's (CRT) production of GYPSY: A Musical Fable, running July 10-20. Uggams, who will be the first African American actress to play the iconic role, recently visited local news station WFSB, and opened up about joining show business at a young age, the production, and more. Written and Directed by Mary Zimmerman, and based on the Classic Chinese Fable, the Chicago Premiere of THE WHITE SNAKE is presented May 3 - June 8, 2014 in the Albert. Rehearsals have begun for the world premiere of Kimber Lee's "different words for the same thing," which begins previews May 4 at the Center Theatre Group / Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City.
