The 84th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, the nation's most cherished procession, returned with a dazzling dose of spectacle, enchantment and tradition as the parade route travels down 7th and 6th Avenue to Macy's Herald Square. Last night, September 28, Green Day frontman and the musical's composer/ co-author Billie Joe Armstrong made his Broadway debut as 'St. Jimmy' at the St. James Theatre in AMERICAN IDIOT. Armstrong will perform through Sunday, October 3, 2010. Immediately following this engagement, Mr. Armstrong will join Green Day in Caracas, Venezuela on October 8, 2010 to kick off their South American Tour. On Wednesday, the ladies of American Idiot stopped by to perform 'Letterbomb' and yesterday, the cast of Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson stopped by to perform 'Rock Star.' Last night, September 13, the cast of AMERICAN IDIOT joined Green Day onstage for the halftime show of the NY Jets game at the New Meadowlands Stadium, performing a rendition of Green Day's Last Of The American Girls. The performance, which was cut short by ESPN, was aired in full on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night. Click below to watch the halftime show!

The cast of the hit Broadway musical AMERICAN IDIOT performed '21 Guns' live this morning, June 10th, in the 8am (EST) hour, on CBS's 'The Early Show,' which airs weekdays from 7-9am. The appearance featured Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr., Tony Award Nominee Stark Sands, Michael Esper, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Christina Sajous, and Mary Faber as well as Declan Bennett, Andrew Call, Gerard Canonico, Miguel Cervantes, Brian Charles Johnson, Leslie McDonel, Chase Peacock, Theo Stockman, Ben Thompson, Alysha Umphress, Sean Wing and Libby Winters.
