With music and lyrics by Jay Kuo (Insignificant Others, Worlds Apart) and book by Kuo and Thione, 'Allegiance' is a family drama that explores love, loss and heroism during the Japanese American confinement in 1942 of approximately 110,000 Japanese nationals and Japanese Americans in no more than 465 cramped barracks in Wyoming. TACT/The Actors Company Theatre, the critically-acclaimed company 'dedicated to presenting neglected or rarely produced plays of literary merit,' presents Three Men on a Horse, by John Cecil Holm & George Abbott as the final production of the company's 2010/11 season. Directed by TACT Co-Artistic Director Scott Alan Evans, performances began at Theatre Row's Beckett Theatre March 14th, 2011. The show will open on March 24th.
