Based on the film starring Doris Day and the screenplay by James O’Hanlon.In Dakota Territory, Calamity Jane a gun-toating tom-boy with a larger-than-life personality. However, the army lieutenant she has her eye on doesn’t see her finer qualities. She soon finds herself in Chicago where her competition is a beautiful actress.
