The criteria are that these shows have been nominated for Best Musical from the 3rd Tony Awards (the ceremony that started the Best Musical category) in 1949 to the nominations of what will now be the 74th Tony Awards in 2021. Canadian Music Week today announced that Debra Rathwell, Executive VP, Global Touring & Talent at AEG Presents, will be inducted into the Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame. Debra will be honoured for her remarkable career in the music industry at the annual Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards Gala at Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto on Thursday, May 21, 2020. She will also give a Keynote Interview prior to the Awards as part of the Canadian Music Week Music Summit at the Sheraton Centre.

Ne a Marseille, apres des debuts comme critique d'art au journal « Combat » et a France Inter, il cree en 1968 le Ballet- Theatre contemporain et dirige le Centre choregraphique et lyrique d'Angers, avec sa complice Francoise Adret, ou il fera decouvrir en France nombre de createurs et notamment Jorge Lavelli.
En 1978, il dirige le Ballet-Theatre francais de Nancy et en 1980 est nomme directeur du Chatelet par Marcel Landowski, lors de la creation du « Theatre musical de Paris - Chatelet », subventionne par la Ville de Paris. Il sera designe en 1987 « personnalite musicale de l'annee ».

Heightening its role as a powerful commissioning force, Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center - The Music Center's acclaimed dance series - is introducing an exciting new chapter in dance with the world premiere of BalletNow, an original three-performance program for which American Ballet Theatre Principals Roberto Bolle and Herman Cornejo are serving as artistic directors. Bolle and Cornejo have formed an international ensemble of 18 major dancers from 12 foreign countries for three distinctive performances, with many of the dancers performing at The Music Center and in Southern California for the first time.
