The criteria are that these shows have been nominated for Best Musical from the 3rd Tony Awards (the ceremony that started the Best Musical category) in 1949 to the nominations of what will now be the 74th Tony Awards in 2021. I will be determining their signs based upon their Broadway premiere date. With those rules in mind, here we go!

Canadian Music Week today announced that Debra Rathwell, Executive VP, Global Touring & Talent at AEG Presents, will be inducted into the Canadian Music & Broadcast Industry Hall of Fame. Debra will be honoured for her remarkable career in the music industry at the annual Canadian Music and Broadcast Industry Awards Gala at Bluma Appel Theatre in Toronto on Thursday, May 21, 2020. She will also give a Keynote Interview prior to the Awards as part of the Canadian Music Week Music Summit at the Sheraton Centre.

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University under the leadership of Artistic Director Diane Paulus and Executive Director Diane Quinn, will present Arrabal, with a book written by John Weidman, music by Gustavo Santaolalla / Bajofondo, choreographed by Julio Zurita, and directed and co-choreographed by Sergio Trujillo.

L'ensemble de l'equipe s'associe a la douleur de sa famille et de ses proches. Jean-Albert Cartier (1930 - 2015) Ne a Marseille, apres des debuts comme critique d'art au journal « Combat » et a France Inter, il cree en 1968 le Ballet- Theatre contemporain et dirige le Centre choregraphique et lyrique d'Angers, avec sa complice Francoise Adret, ou il fera decouvrir en France nombre de createurs et notamment Jorge Lavelli. En 1978, il dirige le Ballet-Theatre francais de Nancy et en 1980 est nomme directeur du Chatelet par Marcel Landowski, lors de la creation du « Theatre musical de Paris - Chatelet », subventionne par la Ville de Paris. Il sera designe en 1987 « personnalite musicale de l'annee ».

Heightening its role as a powerful commissioning force, Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center - The Music Center's acclaimed dance series - is introducing an exciting new chapter in dance with the world premiere of BalletNow, an original three-performance program for which American Ballet Theatre Principals Roberto Bolle and Herman Cornejo are serving as artistic directors. Bolle and Cornejo have formed an international ensemble of 18 major dancers from 12 foreign countries for three distinctive performances, with many of the dancers performing at The Music Center and in Southern California for the first time.

Circumnavigating the globe from the Americas to Africa, the 2014 season features a dynamic mix of traditions and styles. The schedule is as follows: the California debut of Noura Mint Seymali (tonight, July 24); the California debut of Conjunto Chappotin y Sus Estrellas (July 31); The Haden Triplets (August 7); Flaco Jimenez and Max Baca & Los Texmaniacs (August 14); Yiddish Tango Club (August 21); and Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys (August 28).
