When 'Next to Normal' premiered in Norway back in 2010 it was the very first production to open after the original on Broadway a year and half prior. It was not a replica production, but mimicked it in a lot of ways. It had the three floor structure, endless amount of lightbulbs in the ceilings. This revival, that opened at Lørenskog Hus last Friday, is anything but a replica.

AMC Networks announced today from the Television Critics' Association (TCA) Press Tour spring premiere dates for several new and returning original series, including the highly anticipated debuts of AMC's The Walking Dead: World Beyond and three-part series Quiz, a third season of BBC AMERICA's award-winning Killing Eve, the fourth and final season of IFC's acclaimed series Brockmire and the return of SundanceTV's psychological thriller Liar. As previously announced, AMC's Better Call Saul season five debuts with a special two-night premiere event on Sunday, February 23 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9c and Monday, February 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8c and the new anthology series Dispatches From Elsewhere premieres Sunday, March 1 at 10:00 p.m. ET/9c. In addition, the next series in BBC AMERICA's Emmy® Award-winning Planet franchise, Seven Worlds, One Planet will air as a multi-network event across BBC AMERICA, AMC, IFC and SundanceTV this Saturday, January 18 at 9:00 p.m. ET/8c.
Crooked Colours Release New Single 'Never Dance Alone' with Ladyhawke

On May 17 Crooked Colours will release their much anticipated sophomore album Langata via Sweat It Out (pre-order). The band shared a new single from the album 'Never Dance Alone' which features Ladyhawke with Flood Magazine. The track follows up the acclaimed singles 'I'll Be There,' 'Do It Like You,' and 'Hold On' from the forthcoming release. About the track Flood Magazine says, ''Never Dance Alone' features a minimal arrangement, low, rumbling bass tones, and additional vocals from New Zealand's Pip Brown, better known as Ladyhawke. Her contribution brings an entirely new dimension to Crooked Colour's indie dance aesthetic, not unlike the dynamic found in music by The xx.' BET Networks and Paramount Players announced the top ten semifinalists of its nationwide competition,“PROJECT CRE8” that will give one aspiring, undiscovered filmmaker the potential opportunity to produce a feature film with a million-dollar budget. The search kicked-off at the Sundance Festival and after hundreds of submissions the contestants were narrowed down to the top ten. Each semifinalist was given $2,500 and tasked with producing a 3-5 minutes scene from their original screenplay in one month. Now viewers have the power to automatically advance an aspiring director to the final round by voting for their favorite scene. The scene receiving the greatest number of votes from viewers will round out the top five (5) finalists who will vie for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Vote now at BET.com/Cre8.
