The San Francisco Symphony has revealed details of the Orchestra’s 115th season. The 2026–27 season features 26 guest conductors, including five making their Orchestral Series debuts, alongside a lineup of returning and debuting guest artists.

In a production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, the first London production since 1927 of Sidney Howard’s The Silver Cord will open at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 3 September 2024.

The biggest surprise about the surprise program at the Kennedy Center by the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction fo Gianandrea Noseda may have been that it was happening at all.

Westport Country Playhouse will present a Script in Hand playreading of the romantic thriller, "Tricks of the Trade," on Monday, March 25, at 7 p.m.  Written by the late Sidney Michaels, who lived in Westport, Connecticut, the reading will be directed by Anne Keefe, Playhouse associate artist and curator of the playreading series. Tickets are $20 each.

Recently honored as a Lower East Side Community Hero, pianist Mimi Stern-Wolfe walked onstage on the evening of May 25th 2016 at the Center for Jewish History in NYC. She is the founder and artistic director of Downtown Chamber Players and the recipient of the 2015 Clara Lemlich Award. And she did not speak a word. Her fingers recited history in Tango, Charleston, Waltz, Foxtrot, Blues, Maxixe.

Lani Misalucha, known for her star-turning main showroom concerts on the Las Vegas Strip, which earned her the moniker "Siren of the Strip" and Best Singer (Staff Pick) award in Las Vegas Review Journal's "27th Annual Best of Las Vegas" poll, will make her concert debut at The Town Hall in New York City on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 4 p.m., alongside her special guest, promising young tenor Jared Martin.
