Like all dashing, debonair, and mustachioed bachelors, Richard Hannay has nothing to do. Listless, he decides to go to the theatre and, finally, the promise that every theatre teacher you ever had made comes true - it transforms his life. At the theatre, he meets a beautiful woman who accompanies him back to his apartment, saunters into his bedroom, then is promptly murdered in the night while he sleeps alone on his ottoman. Before the mysterious beauty dies, she fills his head with conspiracy theories that send Hannay on a wild-goose chase. He must answer the question: What (or who) is (or are) the 39 steps?

This season's revival of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's Pulitzer Prize-winning play YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU opens on Broadway tonight, and in honor of the playwriting pair's long list of contributions to the theatre, we've rounded up some of their most notable works. Celebrating the 6th Anniversary of Whitmore Eclectic, Aliah Whitmore directs Sylva Kelegian and Lisa Richards in a revival of Marsha Norman's eloquent, darkly humorous, Pulitzer Prize-winning drama 'night, Mother. Paper Mill Playhouse lost its former Executive Producer Angelo Del Rossi on Saturday, August 30, 2014. Angelo Del Rossi helmed Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, for forty years. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 1, 2014 in Montclair, NJ. Paper Mill Playhouse is planning a memorial tribute at the Millburn theater where the entire theater community can celebrate the life of Angelo Del Rossi. Date, time and more information is forthcoming. The 8-week run at the Odyssey Theatre is set to open tonight, Aug. 2.
