After a brief hiatus, ROCK OF AGES re-opened at the Helen Hayes Theatre on Broadway on March 24. Just released is this cute promo as the show (which closed just 3 months ago) asks to be considered for a Best Revival of a Musical Tony nomination (for which you must be closed for 3 years). The five-time Tony Award nominated musical played its final performance at The Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday, January 9, 2011. The official Tony rules on the subject are listed below.

Following her sell-out production of J.M. Barrie's What Every Woman Knows at the Finborough Theatre in July this year, director Louise Hill returns to the Finborough Theatre with another rediscovery of a classic comedy by J.M. Barrie to celebrate the 150th anniversary of his birth - his magical 1901 play Quality Street, opening on 30 November 2010 (Press Night: Thursday, 2 December 2010 at 7.30pm) as part of the Finborough Theatre's 30th anniversary year.

The Nashville Symphony opens its 2010/11 season on September 10 & 11 with performances of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 at War Memorial Auditorium. Led by Music Director Giancarlo Guerrero, the orchestra and chorus will be joined by four internationally renowned soloists: soprano Erin Wall, mezzo-soprano Kelley O'Connor, tenor Anthony Dean Griffey and bass/baritone Morris Robinson. The concert begins at 8 p.m.

The Museum of Modern Art's Summergarden concert series returns to The Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden for four Sunday evenings beginning July 11, 2010. Summergarden, a tradition that began in 1971, is part of MoMA's long history of presenting jazz and classical music, including several premieres, in the Sculpture Garden. MoMA once again welcomes the participation of The Juilliard School and Jazz at Lincoln Center, whose collaboration makes Summergarden possible.
