Producers Thomas Schumacher of Disney Theatrical Productions and Cameron Mackintosh are pleased to announce full casting for the Jacksonville premiere engagement of MARY POPPINS. Jacksonville's most eagerly anticipated stage production will begin performances at the Times-Union Center's Moran Theater on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 for 8 performances only through Sunday, January 27. Opening night is also the 11th Annual Family Night on Broadway, with pre-show activities beginning in the lobby at 6:30PM for the 7:30PM show. Rehearsals for RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella will begin Thursday, December 6 with preview performances starting January 25 prior to Opening Night on Sunday, March 3. (The previously announced opening date of February 24 turned out to be Oscar Night.) The box office at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.) will open Monday, December 17 at 10 a.m.

The darling of the 2006 Tony Awards, this hilarious show-within-a-show begins when a die-hard musical theatre fan puts on his favorite record - the cast album of the (fictional) 1920s musical The Drowsy Chaperone. From the scratchy crackle of his phonograph, a madcap musical magically bursts to life, transforming his humble apartment into a dazzling world of song, dance, and comic ingenuity.

Nancy Opel and Edward Gero Set to Lead Ford's Theatre's HELLO, DOLLY!

Ford's Theatre Director Paul R. Tetreault and Signature Theatre Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer today announced that Tony-nominated actress Nancy Opel (Broadway's "Memphis," "Urinetown," "Teddy & Alice," "Sunday in the Park with George," "Anything Goes," others) and Edward Gero ("King Lear" with Stacey Keach for Goodman and Shakespeare Theatre Company; Ford's "A Christmas Carol"; Goodman and Arena Stage's "Red") will star in the spring production of "Hello, Dolly!" at Ford's Theatre (511 10th Street NW). The production will be directed by Schaeffer and co-produced by Ford's Theatre and Virginia's Tony-winning Signature Theatre. The production will play from March 15 through May 18, 2013. Additional casting will be announced in early 2013.

(15 Vandam Street, New York City) fall 2012 season, 5 Lesbians Eating a Quiche, is now selling tickets for its six week run on the SoHo Playhouse Mainstage. A special discount of $20 tickets will be offered for the October 13th-15th preview performances. During the regular playing schedule, $50 premium tickets and $40 general tickets will be available.

Chicago audiences will be able to see the re-staging of last summer's hit production at Center on Halsted opening on Monday, July 30th with a limited run from August 2nd - August 5th before it heads to FringeNYC.
