Are you intrigued by the class and elegance of a different time? Are you perhaps a bit nostalgic for the 1940s like me? After performing in My Fair Lady (and watching the TV series Downton Abbey), I have developed a new interest in the 1910s-era in England, its style, and the manors of its citizens.

In this farcical send-up of bourgeois snobbery and conformity, a housewife becomes an instant celebrity after she accidentally loses her underpants in public. The show runs Friday September 20 - Saturday October 5, 2013.

Several Viennese museums, including the Albertina, the Belvedere, the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Leopold Museum, and the Wien Museum, are honoring different aspects of Klimt's extraordinary legacy. The Neue Galerie is joining in these celebrations with a special summer 2012 installation of his work. "Gustav Klimt: 150th Anniversary Celebration" will be on view at the Neue Galerie from May 24 to August 27, 2012.

The admirable mission of Gigi Naglak and MeghAnn Williams, writer/performers of Chlamydia Dell'Arte: A Sex Ed Burlesque, is to remove some of the awkwardness in open discussions about human sexuality by treating intimate issues with humor.  Their modestly produced show, which just completed a week-long run at Los Kabayitos, is obviously built to travel, coming to Gotham via stints in Philly and DC, and the amiable pair pulls off their mission with endearing enthusiasm.

The New Actors Company in association with Neil McPherson for the Finborough Theatre presents THE GRAND DUKE. The Finborough Theatre's 'Celebrating British Music Theatre' series continues with the first fully staged professional UK production of Gilbert and Sullivan's final operetta, The Grand Duke, since the original 1896 production. It opens at the Finborough Theatre for a strictly limited run of six Sundays and Mondays from Sunday, 1 April 2012.
