New York Theatre Ballet invites you to attend NYTB at New York Live Arts Benefit on February 27, 2016.

New York Theatre Ballet will perform at New York Live Arts from February 24-27, 2016.  New York Live Arts is located at 219 W. 19th Street, NYC.     This is the ninth year in a row that Elizabeth and Stuart Hodes are hosting a fundraiser in Manhattan for the non-profit East Lynne Theater Company. The date is Sunday, January 31 at 3:00p.m. Although ELTC performs mostly in Cape May, NJ, the Hodes are longtime friends of the company, and artistic director Gayle Stahlhuth wrote a two-person play just for them. The musical titled 'The O'Tooles Tonight,' premiered in Cape May in 2000 under Stahlhuth's direction, receiving excellent reviews, including in 'The Newark Star-Ledger.'

Gregory Maguire wrote the original novel Wicked - The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. Stephen Schwartz, legendary composer and lyricist of Pippin and Godspell, adapted Maguire's twisted take on L. Frank Baum's universe into one of the most successful musicals in history. Moderated by Connecticut theater legend Frank Rizzo, this is a unique opportunity to hear these creators talk about writing, music, theatre and, of course, the Wonderful World of Oz.

Tony-winner and premier actress of the American stage Marian Seldes, 86, died peacefully at her home today after an extended illness. Her brother Timothy Seldes made the announcement.
