WICKED, the record-breaking West End musical now in its 7th smash hit year at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, today announced the opening of its 15th new booking period, on Monday 11 February 2013, with tickets going on sale until Saturday 26 April 2014.

The Rubin Museum will explore illusion and human perception in this year's edition of the popular Brainwave series of on-stage conversations between mind scientists and thinkers from diverse walks of life. Opening today, February 6, the series will include 20 on-stage conversations, 50 film screenings, and an interactive experience in which the museum will become a Memory Palace. While illusion is usually associated with vision, the series will engage audiences through all five senses to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject.

Celebrate Valentine's Day with a special someone when M&M Productions brings A.R. Gurney's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play 'Love Letters' to Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre. Performances are Friday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16 at 8 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 17 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Now, Disney Theatrical Productions has confirmed that Aladdin, a new musical based on the Academy Award winning animated film, will play its pre-Broadway engagement at Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre(formerly the Canon) November 13, 2013 to January 12, 2014 and will open at Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre in 2014. The show will feature music by Alan Menken; lyrics by the late Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin with a book by Beguelin. Casey Nicholaw will direct and choreograph.

Today, Michael Riedel fills in a few more blanks in the New York Post, including word that producer Robert Fox has signed on, as well as director Richard Eyre (the National Theater, Mary Poppins). The show is next headed for a reading in London next week, followed by a summertime presentation at Lloyd Webber's annual Sydmonton Festival if all goes well. Riedel also adds that the composer wants Julian Ovenden (last seen in Death Takes a Holiday), to star.

The Alley Theatre in Houston has been annually producing a stage adaptation of Charles Dickens' novella A Christmas Carol in Prose, Being a Ghost Story of Christmas since 1988. In 1990, Michael Wilson's adaptation, titled A CHRISTMAS CAROL - A GHOST STORY OF CHRISTMAS, had its premiere at The Alley. With family friendly chills and a thrilling, Wizard of Oz-esque spin on the classic parable of redemption and the true meaning of Christmas, the show continues to delight audiences year after year.

Quest Theatre Ensemble celebrates ten years as 'the people's theatre' of Chicago with a full weekend of events including an Anniversary Exhibit, Today and Saturday night performances and an all ages Quest Fest Fun Day. 3-D Theatricals' final show of the 2012 season is the Tony Award-winning musical HAIRSPRAY, featuring choreography by Dana Solimando, musical direction by Allen Everman, and directed by 3-D Theatricals Executive Producer and Artistic Director T.J. Dawson. HAIRSPRAY opened on Saturday, October 13 and performed through Sunday, October 28 at the historic Plummer Auditorium, 201 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton.
