The world premiere of Roald Dahl's Twisted Tales, based on the best loved author's renowned short stories for adults, opens at the Lyric Hammersmith for previews on 14 January 2011, with a press night on 24 January. Adapted by The League of Gentlemen's Jeremy Dyson and directed by the exciting young talent Polly Findlay, Roald Dahl's Twisted Tales will continue to Northern Stage and Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse following its London run.

According to the BBC, PASSION was named the Best Musical at the 56th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards while Bruce Norris's CLYBOURNEY PARK won the Best Play Award on Nov. 28 in a ceremony at London's Savoy Hotel. Sir Peter Hall was also honored with the Moscow Art Theatre's Golden Seagull Award for his contribution to world theatre while Sir Michael Gambon was awarded the Lebedev Special Award for his contribution to British theatre.

America's foremost Gilbert & Sullivan repertory ensemble, the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players (NYGASP), is happy to announce that its new fall, winter and spring season will kick off with a production of Utopia, Limited on Sunday, November 21st (5PM) at Peter Norton Symphony Space (2535 Broadway at 95th Street). Its 36th annual season is spread throughout the year as an alternative to its annual January program at New York's City Center, due to City Center's planned winter construction and renovations.
