The National Music Theater Conference, led by artistic director Paulette Haupt, will present three shows this week, Son of a Gun, with Book by Chris Cragin, Music and Lyrics by Don Chaffer, with additional music by Lori Chaffer; The Shadow Sparrow, with Book by Anton Dudley, Lyrics by Charlie Sohne, and Music by Keith Gordon; and Suprema, Book and Lyrics by Jordan Harrison, and Music and Lyrics by Daniel Zaitchik.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has announced cast members for this summer's National Playwrights Conference.

Wendy C. Goldberg, Artistic Director of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center?s National Playwrights Conference, today announced the eight directors for plays previously selected for its 47th season.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today eight plays to be developed at the 2011 National Playwrights Conference (NPC) under the leadership of Artistic Director Wendy C. Goldberg. The selected playwrights will spend the month of July at the O'Neill's campus developing and presenting staged readings of their work during the NPC's 47th season. Tickets for these readings go on sale Wednesday, June 8. Advanced ticket sales for O'Neill Members will be available Monday, May 16

Alongside this remarkable production led by Artistic Director Adina Tal, the venue - artsdepot - will host Café Kapish, staffed entirely by deaf waiters, the BlackOut Bar, where audiences will be served in the dark by blind waiters, and Touching Art - an art exhibition specially created by deafblind artists from the UK charity, Sense.
