The musical version has music by Matthew Sklar, lyrics by Chad Beguelin, with book by Chad Beguelin and Tim Herlihy. Ryan Weible directs the Willows Theatre production, with choreography by Gia Solari-Welch, and music direction by Tim Hanson. LONE STAR LOVE, a new musical comedy starring Academy Award nominee Randy Quaid in his Broadway debut as Colonel John Falstaff, has announced full casting as it begins rehearsals this week for its Seattle engagement at The 5th Avenue Theatre, September 8 - 30. LONE STAR LOVE will open on Broadway on Monday, December 3 at New York's Belasco Theatre; previews will begin Thursday, November 1.

The York Theatre Company will present a one-night only benefit performance of Busker Alley--starring Jim Dale and Glenn Close--on November 13th at 8:00 p.m. at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College

Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.
