Antoni Cimolino today announced the Stratford Shakespeare Festival's playbill for 2013, his first season as Artistic Director, and began to outline his vision for the Festival's future during his tenure.

The producers of the new musical CHAPLIN have just announced full casting for the production, which will star Rob McClure in the title role, as previously announced. The production will also feature Jim Borstelmann (Alf Reeves), Jenn Colella (Hedda Hopper), Erin Mackey (Oona O'Neill), Michael McCormick (Sennett, McGranery, Emcee), Christiane Noll (Hannah Chaplin), Zachary Unger (Young Charlie, Jackie) and Wayne Alan Wilcox (Sydney Chaplin).

The Old Red Lion Theatre presents Henry V and The Revenger's Tragedy running in repertory from 25 July to 29 September. These productions will be directed by the theatre's Artistic Directors Henry Filloux-Bennett and Nicholas Thompson respectively, with video design by Emil Charlaff, costumes by Mike Lees, lighting by Leo Steele, stage combat by Kev McCurdy and sound by Ella Wahlstrom. The Old Globe's 2012-13 Season will feature the World Premieres of two new musicals: Allegiance - A New American Musical by Jay Kuo and Lorenzo Thione and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak. The season also includes George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion in celebration of the classic play's 100th anniversary and the World Premiere of a new adaptation of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House by Anne-Charlotte Hanes Harvey and Kirsten Brandt. Two recent Broadway hits will make their San Diego debuts at the Globe: David Lindsay-Abaire's Good People and Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities. Rounding out the season are the West Coast Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter's Be a Good Little Widow and the Southern California Premiere of Tarell Alvin McCraney's The Brothers Size.

Park Square Theatre presents John Patrick Shanley's Tony-award-winning play, Doubt, A Parable, April 20-May 13. The play, which also won the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, confronts the issues of hierarchical power, control, uncertainties and doubt. Set in a Catholic school in the Bronx in the 1960s, Doubt tells the story of an old-school, no-nonsense nun who considers charging a charismatic young priest with her unproven allegations. The drama takes place in a school much like the one playwright Shanley attended.

Laura Osnes will play Cinderella and Santino Fontana will portray the Prince in the new Broadway-bound production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's CINDERELLA, it has been announced by the musical's producers. CINDERELLA -- which is aiming for a Broadway opening during the 2012-13 season -- is produced by Robyn Goodman, Stephen Kocis and Jill Furman in association with Center Theatre Group.

Williamstown Theatre Festival Artistic Director Jenny Gersten announced today the final production of the 2012 Nikos Stage Season and an additional pre-season offering for the Festival's 58th, the second under Ms. Gersten's leadership. Academy Award nominee Patricia Clarkson (Pieces of April; WTF's The Ride Down Mount Morgan) and Bradley Cooper (Limitless; The Understudy at WTF) will return to Williamstown in The Elephant Man, written by Bernard Pomerance and directed by Scott Ellis, completing the Nikos Stage season and playing from July 25 - August 5, 2012.
