The Bedford Hills based, much buzzed about and highly acclaimed new band, JAZMO, will host a concert/party at one of America's most revered schools of music to unveil their new 14-song Song List which is being readied for the recording studio. The concert will take place at 6 p.m. tonight, September 9, at The Haven Room at the Lagond Music School, 9 Haven Street, Elmsford, New York (45 minutes from Manhattan).

The Little Orchestra Society (The LOS) inaugurates the 2012-2013 season with an audience favorite from its acclaimed Lolli-Pops™ series, The Orchestra - A Happy Family. Performances will take place on Saturday October 27 at 10:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and Sunday, October 28 at 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., at The Kaye Playhouse at Hunter College (68th St. between Park and Lexington Aves.). The musicians of The LOS, led by guest conductor Philip Mann and joined by the colorful Lolli-Pops™ characters, introduce their musical families to yours, where the drums Bang, the strings Bow, the brass Buzz and the winds Toot.

For three weekends this month, emerging and established playwrights explore new ground, with a different play on stage each weekend. Now in its 25th year, Fresh Ink has presented more than 120 plays, with many going on to become full-length productions.

Including LE POÈME HARMONIQUE IN "VENEZIA," on opening night, eight intriguing composer portraits, featuring John Cage, Jonathan Harvey, Olga Neuwirth, Sofia Gubaidulina, Enno Poppe, Rebeecca Saunders, Oliver Knussen and Julio Estrada. The Metropolitan Museum of Art today unveiled the 2012-13 season of Met Museum Presents, its newly-renamed series of performances and talks. This is the first full season to be programmed by Concerts & Lectures General Manager Limor Tomer, who assumed her post at the Met in July 2011. The program offers interpretations of and reflections on the Museum's collection, special exhibitions, and tradition through the work of some of today's most celebrated composers and performing artists.
