In honor of Tennessee Williams' 100th birthday, Aurora Theatre Company continues its 19th season with the playwright's haunting drama THE ECCENTRICITIES OF A NIGHTINGALE. Aurora Theatre Company Artistic Director Tom Ross helms this evocative play featuring Beth Wilmurt, Charles Dean, Marcia Pizzo, and Thomas Gorrebeeck, along with Amy Crumpacker, Ryan Tasker, Leanne Borghesi, and Beth Deitchman.

Peter, Paul & Mary became famous for their powerful and political messages through a repertoire of songs that became-for millions of Americans-an intro to political activism and awareness, touching four generations of fans. Despite Mary Travers' passing last year following a courageous battle with cancer, Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey continue the trio's messages of hope and equality throughout the world.

During the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons, 33 U.S. opera companies both large and small and from coast to coast will perform works - including nine world premieres - by American composers, announced OPERA America, the national service organization for opera.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) announce that Manhattan Theatre Club, by special arrangement with Bob Boyett, will produce the Live Theatre, Newcastle /National Theatre of Great Britain's co-production of THE PITMEN PAINTERS by Tony Award winner Lee Hall (Billy Elliot) with direction by Max Roberts starring the original English company.

Rosemary Prinz, a veteran of Broadway and the CBS daytime drama As the World Turns, leads the cast in The Cleveland Play House production of Neil Simon's Lost in Yonkers. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Tony Award for Best Play, Lost in Yonkers is a touching and hilarious coming of age story and a very eccentric family.

Mary Travers, best known as one third of the legendary musical trio Peter, Paul & Mary, died yesterday of complications from chemotherapy, which she had been receiving to treat leukemia. She was 72.
