The Dessoff Choirs continues its 92nd season with a one-evening-only spring concert of repentance. Members of The Dessoff Chamber Choir and Ensemble bring diversity, spirit, and beautiful harmony to the emotionally charged season of Lent.

Canadian Stage is proud to present Spotlight Australia: a six-week showcase of innovative cross-disciplinary performance from March 29 to May 7 at the company's Berkeley Street and Bluma Appel Theatres.

This April, Principal Conductor Valery Gergievconducts the Munich Philharmonic Orchestrain two concerts at Carnegie Hall's Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage. On Monday, April 3 at 8:00 p.m., the orchestra performs Ravel'sLa valse and Piano Concerto in G Major withPierre-Laurent Aimard, alongside Beethoven's Symphony No. 3 in E-flat Major, Op. 55, 'Eroica." This concert is being broadcast live on Classical 105.9 FM WQXR, and streamed onwqxr.org and carnegiehall.org/wqxr as part of the Carnegie Hall Live series. It will be heard later this year on radio stations across the country through the WFMT Radio Network.

Seventy years after its first Carnegie Hall appearance, the San Francisco Symphony (SFS), led by Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas (MTT), returns to perform works by Cage, Bartok, and Shostakovich on Friday, April 7, at 8 p.m. and an all-Mahler program on Saturday, April 8, at 8 p.m. The Fridayprogram features Cage's The Seasons, Shostakovich's Cello Concerto No. 1 performed with soloist Gautier Capucon, and Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra, to be followed the next evening by Mahler's Adagio from Symphony No. 10 and a complete performance of Symphony No. 1.

On Sunday, March 19 at 4 pm, the Princeton Symphony Orchestra showcases violinist Philippe Graffin at its Restless Romantics concert conducted by Christopher Lyndon-Gee.

The Hudson Theatre, over its long history, has put the spotlight on some of the best in the business including Louis Armstrong, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Helen Hayes, Ethel Barrymore, Judith Anderson and many more! In this first installment of the CSO's Russian Winter Festival, Music Director Rossen Milanov will conduct this exciting collaboration featuring the musicians of the CSO and principal dancers of BalletMet in unparalleled performances of Stravinsky's fascinating Petrouchka and selections from Prokofiev's romantic Romeo and Juliet. BBC New Generation Artist Elena Urioste will also perform Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, providing a perfect complement to this not-to-be-missed evening of Russian music. The Russian Winter Festival will be enhanced by educational and interactive offerings throughout the week prior to the concerts.

The Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra's music director Larry Rachleff takes the podium on Today, November 12 with violinist Alexander Kerr playing Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto. The Orchestra will also perform Dvorak's Sixth Symphony and Dreamtime Ancestors, a 2015 composition by Christopher Theofanidis. The concert is Today, November 12 at 8:00pm, with an Open Rehearsal Friday, November 11 at 5:30pm.

On the podium is the highly acclaimed, dynamic young Norwegian guest conductor, Rune Bergmann.

Bassoonist Janice Grice performs "Tangos, Serenades and Choros," an innovative program of music by Latin American composers on Hoff-Barthelson Music School's HB Artist Series on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at 5:00 pm at the Greenville Community Church, 270 Ardsley Road, Scarsdale. Joining Ms. Grice will be guest artists Kevin Willois, flute; Fernanda Canaud, piano and HBMS faculty member Glenn Rhian, percussion.

The Tony-nominated director Eleanor Reissa is set to helm New Yiddish Rep's contemporary staging of Sholem Asch's notorious drama 'God of Vengeance' at La MaMa this winter. The Yiddish language production's Off-Broadway opening is on Christmas Day, Sunday December 25 at 7:30pm with previews beginning Thursday December 22.  It will run for five weeks and 33 performances through Sunday January 22.

New York City's best cabaret venue has found a home in Seattle. In an all-new producing partnership, Teatro ZinZanni and Joe's Pub at The Public, one of New York City's most celebrated institutions for emerging and accomplished performance artists, present a brand new late night series, 'Joe's Pub Seattle.'
