LAByrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O'Donnell, Yul Vazquez and Managing Director, Danny Feldman), Off-Broadway's home of exhilarating and incendiary theater, has announced the line-up for the 2010-2011 season featuring the 11th Annual Barn Reading Series, as well as world premiere productions of two works from the 2008 Barn Series written by LAB members: Thinner Than Water by Melissa Ross and The Motherf**ker with the Hat by LAB co-artistic director Stephen Adly Guirgis and a 24/7 marathon of free readings and special events celebrating the city we live in, NewYorkNewYork!

This week we are taking a listen to the soundtrack for the forthcoming ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW homage ala GLEE with a rundown of the second season of the hit Golden Globe-winning musical dramedy series and how it stacks up to last season. Additionally, we take a peek at one of the most famous musicals numbers from the cult classic score - 'Time Warp' featuring all of the central Glee club cast-members of the show, among them Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Dianna Agron and Chris Colfer. The soundtrack also contains a special appearance by John Stamos - late of Broadway's recent BYE BYE BIRDIE, and the other Roundabout revivals of NINE and CABARET - who sings the song made famous by a then unknown Meat Loaf in 1975 who will be making an appearance himself on the episode when it airs October 26th on Fox. "All you have to do is dream" - as the title song of the hit Broadway musical Dreamgirls tells us, and that is exactly what Trevon Davis, a Flint, MI native, did, leading him to the role of C.C. White in the latest production of Dreamgirls which plays Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre October 12 - 17, part of Broadway Across America - Atlanta's 2010 - 2011 season. Trevon, who attended Clark Atlanta University and was a finalist on MTV's Making the Band 4 and BET's Sunday Best, will return home to Atlanta to perform in the first professional production of Dreamgirls following the success of the recent hit movie. I had a chance to talk with Trevon about his career, the role of C.C. and the joys of performing as a "Dreamguy."

Best known for creating the role of Gaston in Broadway's Beauty and the Beast, Burke Moses has played some amazing leading roles during his theatrical career. In the upcoming Theater of the Stars production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, he has the opportunity once again to pick up the whistle of Captain Georg Von Trapp (he most recently played to role in the acclaimed Toronto production) and command a new brigade of Von Trapp children on stage at Atlanta's Fabulous Fox Theatre. The fictional account of the playwright's youthful encounter with legendary actress Katharine Cornell brims with nostalgic references, brilliant characterizations, witty aphorisms and touchingly human scenes. However, the June 6th matinee featured an extra, unscripted, delight.

One of Orange County, California's newest theater companies, 3D Theatricals, will present HELLO, DOLLY! from July 9 through August 1 at the gorgeous O.C. Pavilion Theatre in the Arts District of downtown Santa Ana. Starring as the matchmaker Dolly Levi will be Broadway veteran (and Los Angeles-area theater favorite) Ruth Williamson. During a break from show preparations, Williamson paused briefly for a chat with BroadwayWorld's Michael Lawrence Quintos to discuss her extensive history in the theater and her excitement in taking on the iconic role.

The Gallery Players proudly announces its line up for The 13th Annual Black Box New Play Festival.
