16th Street Theater announces their 10th Anniversary Season 2017: The Journey featuring three exceptional plays about journeys by writers Jon Steinhagen, Karen Zacarias and Minita Gandhi as well as a return to nine plays by past playwrights-in-residence.

Country superstars Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will be returning to host Country Music's Biggest Night in 2016.

In an original take on a classic story, The Rose Theater will transform into the jungles of India in their upcoming production of The Jungle Book. This thrilling adventure story follows the story of Mowgli, a baby in India who wanders away from his village and into the jungle where he is raised by wolves. The 70-minute production opens at The Rose on Oct. 28 and continues through Nov. 13. 

Roundabout Theatre Company presents Mike Bartlett's new play, Love, Love Love, directed by Michael Mayer, featuring Richard Armitage, Alex Hurt, Zoe Kazan, Ben Rosenfield and Amy Ryan. Love, Love, Love opened officially last night, October 19, 2016, Off-Broadway at the Laura Pels Theatre at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). In conjunction with their 60(th) anniversary this year, Verve is celebrating the genius of Simone, the supernaturally gifted singer, pianist and prolific songwriter, and her incredible mid-'60s run with the release of her entire Philips catalog on vinyl.

The Old Globe presents the world premiere of Steve Martin's new play METEOR SHOWER, an adult comedy, marking his welcome return to the Globe following the great success of Bright Star. Bonnie Brown Ring, one-third of one of Country Music's most enduring family groups as a member of The Browns, passed away on July 16th at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas following complications from lung cancer.
