Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and TRAFFIC co-founding member is heading out on the road in the new year with an exciting new project billed as “DAVE MASON'S TRAFFIC JAM.”

This vividly written, moving and very funny tale will be presented by Open Stage of Harrisburg November 29 to December 29, 2013 and is the second play in Season 28 at the professional theatre located at 223 Walnut St, on the Street level of the Walnut Street Garage in Downtown Harrisburg. This production will be a Northeast Premier of A CHRISTMAS MEMORY, which was created by dramatist Duane Poole, composer Larry Grossman and lyricist Carol Hall (The Beast Little Whorehouse in Texas). Open Stage Executive Artistic Director Donald L. Alsedek directs the production.

The four victorious allied leaders meet to decide the future of the world. As they discuss the state of Germany, the establishment of a new world order and countering the effects of war, another quartet entertains them with the melodies of Mozart, Haydn, Borodin and Bartok. But as the most powerful men in the world attempt to establish a new harmony, the musicians' relationships are fracturing. In an antechamber between concerts festering antagonisms arise, old resentments are re-enacted and discord triumphs.

For the second year in a row, American Graduate Day 2013, will premiere live this fall, today, September 28 from 12 noon - 7 pm EST, on public media (check local public television station listings), marking a long term commitment to helping communities tackle the nation's dropout crisis and preparing students for success with a high school diploma.
