Michael Frayn's Copenhagen investigates the historical 1941 meeting of German physicist Werner Heisenberg and his Danish counterpart Niels Bohr as they contemplate the creation of the atom bomb. It will run at Theater J from January 5-29, 2017.

The upcoming 27th annual The Donald M. Ephraim Palm Beach Jewish Film Festival will present movies from around the world, opening with ON THE MAP, the true story of Israel's 1977 basketball team, the first to ever bring the coveted European Cup to Israel. After its hit premiere at the Humana Festival of New Plays and a critically lauded Off Broadway production, playwright and actor Colman Domingo's comedy-drama DOT will open to audiences in Baltimore at Everyman Theatre. Directed by Founding Artistic Director Vincent M. Lancisi, the production features acclaimed actress Sharon Hope in the title role of Dotty, joined by Resident Company members Megan Anderson and Dawn Ursula. It will run from December 7, 2016 to January 8, 2017.

Producer Stuart Thompson announced today that John Guare's critically acclaimed play Six Degrees of Separation will return to Broadway this spring in a revival starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney ('Mom,' The Girl on the Train) as Ouisa and Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, 'Manhattan') as Flan. Trip Cullman (Significant Other, Punk Rock) will direct the production, which is set to open at the Barrymore Theatre in April 2017 and will run for 15 weeks only.

Portland Center Stage at The Armory debuts its new Northwest Stories series with Jeanne Sakata's Hold These Truths, a play inspired by the life of civil rights hero Gordon Hirabayashi, a Seattle native who was posthumously awarded the 2012 Presidential Medal of Freedom. Hold These Truths opens in the Ellyn Bye Studio on October 7, with previews beginning October 1 and performances running through November 13. Hold These Truths will be directed by Jessica Kubzansky, who directed the world premiere at East West Players in Los Angeles. Actor Ryun Yu, who originated the role of Hirabayashi at East West Players, will once again play the role in Portland.
