Controversial New Play PIG GIRL to Receive European Debut This Winter at Finborough

In a new production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre and originally seen as a staged reading as part of Vibrant -- A Festival of Finborough Playwrights, and part of its Winter Season of 20 Premieres, the European premiere of Pig Girl by former Canadian Playwright-in-Residence at the Finborough Theatre, Colleen Murphy, runs at the Finborough Theatre, playing twelve Sunday and Monday evenings from Sunday, 11 January 2015 (Press Night: Monday, 12 Janaury 2015 at 7.30pm).

La Jolla Playhouse announces the latest presentation in its acclaimed Without Walls (WoW) series, THE GRIFT at the Lafayette Hotel, a world-premiere, immersive theatre piece, conceived, written and directed by Diabolical Muse's Tom Salamon, creator of the Playhouse's wildly-successful WoW production of Accomplice: San Diego. The show will run January 27 - February 22, 2015 at North Park's historic Lafayette Hotel.

'BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS' to Make US Premiere at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters welcomes Pegasus Theatre with the US premiere of BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS: KATE DIMBLEBY SINGS THE DORY PREVIN STORY, created and performed by Kate Dimbleby, accompanied by Naadia Sheriff on piano. Written with Amy Rosenthal, and directed by Cal McCrystal, BEWARE OF YOUNG GIRLS begins performances on Tuesday, December 16 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 4. Press opening is Thursday, December 18 at 7:15 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:15 PM; Friday at 8:15 PM; Saturday at 5:15 PM & 8:15 PM; and Sunday at 3:15 PM & 7:15 PM. Please note, there is no performance on December 25; the performances on December 24 and December 31 are at 6:15 PM. The Old Globe invites your participation and coverage as it begins presenting shows through an exciting new producing platform, Globe for All. This free-of-charge tour of a professional production of Shakespeare will allow the theatre to serve more communities throughout San Diego by collaborating with a diverse range of local organizations. Old Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein directs the first production, Shakespeare's fascinating romance All's Well That Ends Well. He has cast local professional actors, including recent graduates of the Old Globe/University of San Diego Graduate Theatre Program. Shakespeare's Globe Brings HAMLET to Folger Theatre This Weekend

The London-based Shakespeare's Globe will bring their global touring production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet to Folger Theatre for three performances only this weekend, July 25 and 26, 2014, making it the only east coast stop for the company in the United States.
