PITTSBURGH - Guest conductor Lucas Richman leads the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Student Chorale in a concert that soars with good and evil during the opening weekend of the 2014-2015 PNC Pops season this weekend, October 17-19 at Heinz Hall.

What would this mean? Would TWIN PEAKS' fans dreams finally be answered? And on Monday, they were. SHOWTIME announced plans for nine episodes of the classic 90's cult favorite to air in 2016.

The Cat in the Hat brings Dr. Seuss' classic tale vividly to life at The Rose Theater, today, Oct. 3-19. This energetic adaptation of the iconic children's book weaves all the silliness and charm of the original story into a playful production that will delight the entire family.

From September 4-14, 2014, Houston Ballet launches its 45th season with the company premiere of John Neumeier's three-act ballet A Midsummer Night's Dream. The ballet is based on Shakespeare's lighthearted play of the same name and follows the hijinks and hilarity that ensues when a well-intentioned plan with a love potion goes awry. Created in 1977, A Midsummer Night's Dream has served as Mr. Neumeier's calling card, being seen as one of his most joyous and popular creations. Houston Ballet is the first American ballet company to perform the famous work and it is the first piece by Mr. Neumeier to enter the Houston Ballet repertoire.

The Sound of Music will be performed at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House in the Denver Performing Arts Complex for seven performances only from today, August 2 through August 10.

The 8-week run at the Odyssey Theatre is set to open tonight, Aug. 2.

Following the record-breaking attendance of Festival 2013, Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival announces the full 2014 Festival free and ticketed event schedule. Jacob's Pillow is a National Historic Landmark, home to America's longest-running dance festival, and a recipient of the National Medal of Arts. Noted dance writer Jennifer Dunning has called the Pillow "the dance center of the nation, possibly the world."
