A May Sky Picture has announced the workshop production of Schuyler Iona Press' WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN, choreography by Joel Hanna, music arranged by Jeb Patton, co-directed by Darren Press, written and directed by C. Fraser Press. WHAT I'M FAILING TO LEARN will play a limited engagement at Off-Broadway's 13th Street Rep (50 West 13th Street, NYC). Performances begin tonight, May 15 and continue through Saturday, June 15. Opening Night is Wednesday, May 29 (7 p.m.).

New York City Ballet's 2013-14 Season at Lincoln Center will feature performances of 50 ballets in celebration of New York City Ballet's 50th anniversary at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, which has been the Company's home since the New York State Theater (now the David H. Koch Theater) opened in April of 1964.

With Go Back Home, the Grammy Award-winning soprano, whose voice Stephen Sondheim has hailed as "one of the glories of the American theater," makes her highly anticipated return to recording, presenting her most personal album to date.

The Akron Civic Theatre will present Verb Ballets', Honoring Poll, tonight, March 8, 2013, at 8pm with intimate cabaret seating on stage at the historic theatre. The program will highlight the late choreographer Heinz Poll and his legacy through works created for the Ohio Ballet and features a new work by former Ohio Ballet dancer and ballet master, Richard Dickinson (Ohio Ballet, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Boston Ballet).

Attending the 13th Annual Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA) Awards presented by Delta Air Lines tonight, October 8, 2012 will be SAG-AFTRA elected leadership reps that include national SAG-AFTRA Co- President, Roberta Reardon and national SAG-AFTRA Co-Treasurer and Co-Secretary, Amy Aquino. Also joining the celebration will be Tony Plana, Tony Shalhoub, Brooke Adams and CNN's Jane Vélez-Mitchell. "It seems strange," says BCCM Artistic Director Paul Hope, "to say a show written in the 1940s can be a Houston premiere, but One Touch of Venus has never before been seen on a Houston stage. That's a sad oversight BCCM will correct in September."

The Librarian of Congress, James H. Billington, announced today that Grammy- and Academy-Award-winning songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David will join the ranks of Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, and Paul McCartney as recipients of the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. Bacharach and David each will receive the Library's Gershwin Medal next spring at an all-star tribute in Washington D.C. This will be the fourth time the honor has been awarded and the first time to a songwriting team.

New York City Ballet's 2011 winter repertory performances will begin on Tuesday, January 18, kicking off with an all-Balanchine program consisting of Walpurgisnacht Ballet, Duo Concertant, Valse-Fantaisie and The Four Temperaments, and will continue for six weeks, through Sunday, February 27, with performances of more than 27 different ballets from NYCB's unparalleled repertory. All performances will take place at the Company's home, the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.
