Lyle Lovett, Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter, and John Hiatt, Songwriter's Hall of Fame inductee, team up again for “An Acoustic Evening with Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt,” at 8 p.m., tonight, October 17, 2015, at the State Theatre. This intimate, side-by-side “unplugged” session features both artists alternating songs from their respective stellar careers. The duo mixes wry banter with some of the finest and most elegantly crafted music around, encompassing Americana, swing, folk, R&B and rock 'n' roll. Tony Waag (Producer/Artistic/Executive Director/Teacher) founded the American Tap Dance Foundation (formerly known as the American Tap Dance Orchestra) in 1986, along with Brenda Bufalino and the late Charles 'Honi' Coles. From 1989-1995, he co-created and operated, with Ms. Bufalino, Woodpeckers Tap Dance Center which became a model for numerous tap organizations and tap studios worldwide creating, producing, and presenting various educational programs for adults and children year-round, as well as annual winter tap intensives with master classes, courses and workshops taught by leading International artists and master tap dancers.

As part of the free 'Steinway Comes to Cape May' Piano Festival, there will be a musical feast with leading performers of classical, jazz and pop music at a FREE concert at Cape May Convention Hall, tonight June 6, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. 'Today Night at the Steinway Piano' presents seven top artists performing on two Steinway & Sons pianos; one is the 9-foot concert grand piano once owned by legendary virtuoso pianist Vladimir Horowitz. The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Al Rinaldi, the late Chairman of Jacobs Music Company, a tireless champion of pianists, from young students through the leading lights of the international concert stage.

Designed to narrow the gap between rock and classical music, the program extends the listening experience of Pink Floyd's music by pairing the orchestra with a full, amplified rock band onstage.

Sills later famously served as the company's director and chief ambassador for the art form from 1979-1989. It also sought to produce an innovative choice of repertory, and provide a home for American singers and composers.
