Broadway's critically-acclaimed musical A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, a music-filled live show celebrating Janis Joplin and her biggest musical influences, will bring its national tour to Nashville, performing at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center's James K. Polk Theater on April 15-16, 2016.

Hungarian Cultural Center New York presents the renowned classical and jazz big band Modern Art Orchestra direct from Budapest in a pair of concerts in Washington, D.C. and NYC, led by bandleader/composer/trumpeter Kornel Fekete-Kovacs.

The concert will be dedicated to the memory of Al Rinaldi, the late Chairman of Jacobs Music Company, a tireless champion of pianists, from young students through the leading lights of the international concert stage.

Composer and arranger Brent Havens will bring his 'rock symphony' collaboration project, The Music of Pink Floyd, to Jones Hall tonight, May 30. Designed to narrow the gap between rock and classical music, the program extends the listening experience of Pink Floyd's music by pairing the orchestra with a full, amplified rock band onstage.
