West End's ALADDIN And THE LION KING Announce Summer Pop-up Experience

Disney's hit West End musicals Aladdin and The Lion King have today announced that a summer Pop-Up will open its doors to Disney fans old and new in Covent Garden throughout August. Located at 25 Long Acre in the heart of Theatreland, the Pop-Up will be open every day from Tuesday 31st July until Sunday 26th August with a host of free interactive experiences and special events to enjoy.

Broadway by the Bay struts their way into August with the disco dancing, finger pointing, hip-swerving hit Broadway musical, Saturday Night Fever. Based on the 1976 New York Magazine article "Tribal Rights of the New Saturday Night" and one of the most popular movie musicals of all time, this all new stage production will feature over a dozen classic songs by the Grammy Award-winning group the Bee-Gees, dazzling choreography, and the iconic fashion looks of the 70s disco era.

Mazz Murray will join the West End cast of CHICAGO at the Phoenix Theatre, playing the title role of Mama Morton from Monday 2 July. Also joining the cast on 2 July will be the previously announced Martin Kemp as Billy Flynn. They will join Sarah Soetaert, Josefina Gabrielle and Paul Rider as Roxie Hart, Velma Kelly and Amos Hart respectively.

Fans responded with overwhelming positive messages to the last year's hit-filled, high-energy and fun-filled holiday show, so this year, more dates and new cities have been added. 98° last Christmas tour played to packed houses across the country. This year's 98° at Christmas 2018 kicks off on Thursday, November 1 in Winnipeg, MB and ends Friday, December 21 in Appleton, WI.

DAC Stage, in collaboration with The Lipstick Project, is producing the first ever all-female cast of Kander and Ebb's musical, Cabaret. The show will open on April 27th and run three weekends at the DAC's Weatherstone Studio. For this special production, Darien Arts Center Stage, the DAC's community theatre group, has augmented their pool of talent with that of The Lipstick Project, an all-female theatre group from Darien and surrounding towns, with a mission of empowering women through artistic opportunity and expression.

10 Hairy Legs Debuts at Baryshnikov Arts Center for Sixth Consecutive New York Season

10 Hairy Legs, the all male repertory dance company, dèbuts at Baryshnikov Arts Center for its sixth consecutive New York Season for four performances June 7 -10. The program features World Premieres by Bessie Award Nominee and company member Nicholas Sciscione, and Yin Yue. Works by Al Blackstone, Raja Feather Kelly and Christopher Williams complete the program. Sciscione will perform his solo work and Ofer Pelz his original composition at all performances. Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Students and Groups of 10 or more through 10HL.org.
