The Texas Repertory Theatre Company is continuing their 8th Season with Bernard Slade's TRIBUTE. The play was penned as a vehicle for Jack Lemmon, and earned him both a Tony Nomination and a Drama Desk Nomination for his performance. The engaging, 1978 piece introduces audiences to Scotty Templeton, who has just discovered he is terminally ill with Lukemia. As his time runs out, he spends his last summer trying to repair his estranged relationship with his son. Within this scenario, Bernard Slade crafts a heart achingly poignant comedy about the strength of familial bonds and the importance of human friendships.

The retrospective includes screenings of ten concert films and documentaries - two never before seen in Chicago - plus music videos and filmmaker Q&As today-Sunday, April 19-21, at Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport.

Beginning May 10, 2013, The Jewish Museum in New York will present Jack Goldstein x 10,000, the first American museum retrospective devoted to the work of Canadian-born artist Jack Goldstein (1945-2003). This comprehensive exhibition brings to light Goldstein's important legacy, revealing his central position in the Pictures Generation of artists of the 1970s and 80s. The impressive range of the artist's imagination will be explored through Goldstein's influential films and paintings as well as his pioneering sound recordings, installations, and writings. Ten years after his untimely death in 2003, Goldstein's work is exerting fresh influence, especially among younger artists. With Jack Goldstein x 10,000, The Jewish Museum provides audiences who may not be familiar with his work an in-depth understanding of an extraordinary art innovator.

When two men with struggling relationships, neat and particular Felix Ungar and disheveled and rough-edged Oscar Madison, decide to live together, the results are funny and poignant. The Odd Couple opens with previews tonight, March 15 and runs through Sunday, April 14 at the Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in the AT&T Performing Arts Center.

With recent media attention being paid to football related injuries, past and present, Assassin is particularly relevant.
