Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the July, August, and September lineup for the 2016 Comedy Club. Monday nights at 8 pm. Carnegie Hall presents a joint concert by Timo Andres and Gabriel Kahane-composers, performers, and long-time friends-on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. in Zankel Hall. The program encompasses music from the past four centuries with vocal and piano works by J.S. Bach, Charles Ives, Benjamin Britten, Jerome Kern, Thomas Ades, and Andrew Norman, along with the New York premieres of new works the composers have written for each other. A pre-concert talk will be held in Zankel Hall with Kahane, Andres, and Jeremy Geffen, Director of Artistic Planning at Carnegie Hall.

Crowded Fire Theater (CFT) Crowded Fire's newly appointed Artistic Director Mina Morita unveiled the 2016 mainstage season lineup of three contemporary plays that continue to uphold the company's long tradition of producing boundary - pushing, thought-provoking theater. At a season-announcement party on Saturday, November 14th Morita addressed Crowded Fire donors, patrons, and artists saying "At Crowded Fire, we are unafraid of tackling big issues. We commit ourselves to true experimentation of form and content to question, disrupt, or complicate comfortable notions of cultural hierarchy."
