Michael Donald Edwards, Asolo Repertory Theatre's producing artistic director, announced today his selections for the 2010-2011 season. A major highlight of Asolo Rep's 52nd season is the pre-Broadway try-out production of Bonnie & Clyde opening on November 19, 2010.

The compelling multimedia, moving-image installations of Berlin-based artist Ming Wong (b. 1971) have garnered increasing international recognition, from the Venice, Sydney and Gwangju Biennales to the Toronto International Film Festival. And now, the Frye Art Museum presents the first U.S. exhibition of the artist's work. With three of Wong's most important installations, Ming Wong: LIFE OF IMITATION is on view January 22 to February 27, 2011.

A Noise Within (ANW) reprises its hilarious and critically acclaimed production of the joyfully out-of control British farce NOISES OFF by MICHAEL FRAYN for ten performances from Friday, January 21 to Sunday, January 30, 2011.

According to Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, David Hare's new play, SOUTH DOWNS was writted in response to THE BROWNING VERSION by Terence Rattigan. The show is set for a run at Chichester, where, according to artistic director Jonathan Church, BROWNING VERSION will appear during the same season.

According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, Michael Cerveris is in talks to reprise his role in Sondheim and Weidman's musical Road Show. Cerveris appeared in the Public Theatre production of the show 2 years ago. Road show will make its UK premiere at the Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre in London next summer.

Storm King Art Center, sculpture park, celebrates its fiftieth anniversary with two special exhibitions opening on Saturday, June 5. 5+5: New Perspectives, comprising 12 new and recent works by ten artists, and The View from Here: Storm King at Fifty explores key aspects of Storm King's rich and varied history. Influenced by his work as a pantomime, theater director, philosopher, playwright, comic book artist, as well as his spiritual training in Zen Buddhism, shamanism, and the occult, Jodorowsky's films eschew traditional narratives, arcs and character tropes. The six films showcased in 'Blood into Gold: the Cinematic Alchemy of Alejandro Jodorowsky' depict dream worlds, brimming with symbols and steeped in mysticism, floating and colliding with the Surrealist concepts of anarchy and randomness - filtered through the hazy, acid-colored lens of psychedelia. At once jarring, beautiful, baffling, alluring, and absurd, Jodorowsky's work pushes the medium's boundaries - provoking the audience's intellect, senses, and emotions.
