The Great Game: Afghanistan - a festival exploring Afghan culture and history through twelve plays, a five day film programme, a ceramic exhibition and discussion sessions returns to the Tricycle Theatre for a limited run from 23 July until 29 August 2010 with a press day on 31 July.

In conjunction with its new exhibition, Curious George Saves the Day, The Jewish Museum is presenting two related programs. Author Louise Borden will give a lecture on the wartime journey of Margret and H. A. Rey, creators of Curious George, on April 8. A three-part daytime lecture series on the Reys and their lives and careers with scholar Leonard Marcus will be offered on March 18, and April 1 and 8.

Tricycle Theater Presents THE GREAT GAME: AFGHANISTAN

The Tricycle Theatre will present The Great Game: Afghanistan from 17 April - 14 June 2009, a festival exploring Afghan culture and history through fifteen plays, a ten day film programme, Qawali Sham Sufi Group concert, ceramic and photographic exhibitions, discussion sessions, writers' talks and play readings (in conjunction with the National Theatre Studio). Previews for The Great Game: Afghanistan begin on 17 April with a press day on 24 April. In addition, the Tricycle's Education Department will produce a series of projects to support the Festival.
