Dancers' Group is pleased to present Bay Area Dance Week, April 21-30, 2017. Now in it's 19th year, Bay Area Dance Week is one of the nation's largest, most joyful and inclusive celebrations of movement and dance. This year's festival features nearly 400 events, all are entirely free to the community.

On Saturday, July 30, Miami City Ballet welcomed dancers and dance lovers from all over the greater Miami area to Miami Beach to celebrate National Dance Day. Over 100 people gathered in Collins Park for a dance party where they learned the 2016 National Dance Day Routine and performed in a flash mob. DJ Hottpants got the party started and was joined on stage by MC and MCB School instructor Herman Payne, with MCB Dancers and J Marcos, dancer and creator of dance-fitness class Videosync, helping to demonstrate. A flash mob of more than 100 teens will be playing guitar and singing in celebration of the power of music as part of Guitar Mash's Teen Mash Mob at Richard Tucker Square (66th Street between Columbus Ave and Broadway) today, May 13 at 5:30 p.m. Featured among them will be guest guitarist Brandon Niederauer, who plays 'Zack' in Broadway's SCHOOL OF ROCK.

'A Spectacular Night with the Stars: The golden age of Hollywood in retrograde at the dawn of the empire of television' is a play conceived, created and devised by Brain Melt Consortium and directed by Rachel Kerry. The year is 1960 and Hollywood's most famous film stars are in trouble. The empire of cinema has fallen and a new medium is rising to take its place: television. Judy, a movie star as talented as she is troubled, has decided to take drastic measures in the face of this change and invites America into her home for a televised variety show filled with her most famous friends. But things are not what they seem in this fabulous affair: Satanism, serial killers, madness and mayhem lurk around every corner. It all culminates in a terrifying occult ritual that may or may not end the entertainment industry as we know it. Its world premiere will be presented by Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival September 11 to 20.
