Celebrated in her home country and throughout Europe, but little-known in America, the Norwegian filmmaker Anja Breien makes feminist, politically aware fiction and documentary films. From tonight, November 1 through 9, 2013, Museum of the Moving Image will present Anja Breien: Games of Love and Loneliness, the first U.S. retrospective of Breien's work, featuring six features and a program of shorts, with the director in person for select screenings and for an opening reception.

For the first time, fans will also see the remaining 10 "Defining Moments presented by SAP" exhibits that showcase through amazing photos and memorabilia some of the moments that have solidified The Garden's position as The World's Most Famous Arena. MSG unveiled 10 "Defining Moments presented by SAP" in Fall 2012, which are located on the SAP Madison Concourse, and the remaining 10 exhibits will debut in the fully transformed Arena on the Garden Concourse.

However, on Thursday, October 10th, June Lockhart received what she now considers her greatest honor, when the National Aeronautics and Space Administration presented her with their Exceptional Public Achievement Medal for outstanding talent for inspiring the public about space exploration and her many interactions with and on behalf of NASA. 'It's Sweet!,' declares Ms. Lockhart.

Famed singer, actress and Broadway star Eydie Gormé has died at age 84. Spokesperson Howard Bragman said 'Legendary singer and performer Eydie Gorme passed away peacefully today at Sunrise Hospital following a brief illness. She was surrounded by her husband, son and other loved ones at the time of her death.' In his own statement, Steve Lawrence said: 'Eydie has been my partner on stage and in life for more than 55 years. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her and even more the first time I heard her sing. While my personal loss is unimaginable, the world has lost one of the greatest pop vocalists of all time.'
