Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent.

Last week, the newly reimagined tour of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA set up shop at The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando. The production continues its run in the City Beautiful through Sunday. Soloists include soprano DEBORAH SELIG, mezzo-soprano REBECCA RINGLE, tenor CHARLES BLANDY and MATTHEW BURNS, bass-baritone. ANDREW CLARK, Director of Choral Activities at Harvard University and former artistic director of the Providence Singers, conducts. The perennial favorite holiday concert features a family-friendly start time of 7:00pm on Saturday December 20 at The Vets in Providence.
