Miracle Theatre Group, the Northwest's premier Latino arts and culture organization, today announces its 2010-2011 season featuring an exciting line-up of four world premiere productions and a Pulitzer Prize winning drama.

Playwrights Horizons, under the leadership of Artistic Director Tim Sanford and Managing Director Leslie Marcus, is proud to announce four additional productions for its 2010/2011 40th Anniversary Season. The three World Premieres and one New York premiere join the previously-announced New York premiere of Edward Albee's ME, MYSELF & I.

The Tricycle Theatre will present Women, Power and Politics, a season opening immediately after the general election, exploring the history and current role of women in politics in Great Britain through twelve different plays, a film festival, curtain raisers (in conjunction with the National Theatre Studio) and an exhibition in the Tricycle's Gallery.

The current cast of GOD OF CARNAGE includes Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Christine Lahti Christine Lahti ('Chicago Hope') as 'Veronica,' Emmy and Golden Globe-nominee Annie Potts ('Designing Women') as 'Annette,' Emmy and Golden Globe-winner Jimmy Smits ('The West Wing') as 'Alan,' and Olivier Award-nominee Ken Stott as 'Michael' to the cast.

Today, the Lucille Lortel Awards Administration Committee and the Lucille Lortel Foundation announce the recipient of the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award: Daryl Roth. This honor is conferred to a theatre professional known for their dedication to Off-Broadway. On May 2, 2010, Daryl Roth will join the recipients in the 18 other Lortel Award categories on stage for the 25th Annual Lucille Lortel Awards starting at 8 PM EST at Terminal 5 in New York City.

Sergio Trujillo, the acclaimed choreographer of Jersey Boys, Next to Normal and the forthcoming musicals The Addams Family and Memphis, will make his directorial debut with Havana, a new musical (not based on the film of the same name) with a book by Pulitzer Prize-winning Cuban author Nilo Cruz, music by internationally-renowned Frank Wildhorn and lyrics by Jack Murphy. Produced by Kathleen Raitt, William Franzblau/Jay Harris, Ben Sprecher/Louise Forlenza and Steven E. Leber/Jordan Leber, Havana, which is aiming for the 2010-11 Broadway season, will have a private industry presentation this week in New York.

South Coast Repertory's 12th annual Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF) will shine the spotlight on seven new plays written by America's finest writers. Since its creation in 1998, PPF has grown into one of the most important festivals of new scripts in the United States. This year's Festival will take place during the May 1 through May 3 weekend and will feature five staged readings and two fully-produced World Premieres on South Coast Repertory's Segerstrom and Julianne Argryos Stages.
