Based on the original concept and script, this staged version brings forth the turmoil of love, trust, denial and desire embodied in Sally Bowles as well as the young and restless curiosity of a defiant American named Cliff.







From the producer that brought you the smash hit, Elevator, and the director of Into the Woods and Pippin.



Set against the backdrop of pre-World War II, the show takes place inside a provocative, yet forbidden Kit Kat Klub, where the relationship between cabaret performer Sally Bowles and the handsome American Cliff Bradshaw flourishes only to be confronted by social taboos and the imminent rise of the Nazi Party.



Overseeing all of the action in CABARET is the Master of Ceremonies (MC) of the Kit Kat Klub, who serves as a cultural metaphor and the upbeat catalyst to the ever-changing climate of the show.



Reflecting the moods and guiding the minds of the characters on stage, the MC takes pleasure in reminding the audience how easily society falls prey to the electrifying chaos that surrounds them. It is best to leave all inhibitions outside.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Stackner Cabaret once again welcomes the glittering costumes and chandeliers of Liberace!. Brilliant local musician and performer Jack Forbes Wilson will reprise his triumphant portrayal of Liberace, the man who defined four decades of music and pop culture, after an acclaimed world premiere production which ran during The Rep's 2010/11 Season. This loving tribute to Liberace is written and directed by Rep Associate Artistic Director Brent Hazelton, with original music direction and composition by Jack Forbes Wilson. Cast Announced for THE RING CYCLE at Birmingham Hippodrome This Autumn

During the first week of November, the Mariinsky Theatre returns to the UK for an operatic showcase of Wagner's Ring in Birmingham at the historic Hippodrome and three operas originally written for the Mariinsky including the most recent Levsha (The Left-hander) by Rodion Shchedrin. With a 300-strong troop of musicians, soloists and chorus starting the tour in Cardiff with Prokofiev's Betrothal in a Monastery, Valery Gergiev proceeds to London to present Russia's national epic Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov followed by the UK premiere of The Lefthander, both in concert versions at the Barbican.

These shows titled, An Evening at the Cape May Summer Club, are being co?created with Ree Carney Dunphy. Dunphy is known for assisting in creating and operating Carney's, the legendary pub on the University of Philadelphia's campus, and the famous Carney's Restaurant and Bar in Cape May, New Jersey. In addition, Dunphy plays a pivotal role with the American Cancer Society and is a co?creator of the black tie event, the BasketBall, one of Philadelphia's premiere social events.

Happy Birthday, Danny Burstein! On Broadway, Burstein's appearances have included A Little Hotel on the Side (1992), Yakov in The Seagull (1992-93), in Saint Joan and Three Men on a Horse (both in 1993), Paul in Company (1995), 1st Officer William Murdoch in Titanic (1997-99), Aldolpho in The Drowsy Chaperone (2006-07), Luther Billis in South Pacific (2008-10), and Taxi Driver in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (2010-11). He played the role of Buddy Plummer in the Kennedy Center production of Follies, which went on to play Broadway's Marquis Theatre and LA's Ahmanson Theatre. He is currently starring in the Roundabout revival of Cabaret, for which he earned a 2014 Tony nomination.

Beautiful and Bodacious Blues Singer SARI SCHORR Set to Perform in Multiple NY Metro Area Venues Throughout June

When the legendary Blues artist Joe Louis Walker and his band played a terrific gig at B.B. King's Blues Club in August of 2012, it was their chick/babe front singer Sari Schorr who blew the roof off the club with power vocals. Now Schorr's voice will be busting out all over in June, as she is booked for performances this month throughout the metro area. On Thursday, June 5, her new Sari Schorr Band will be at Stanhope House in Stanhope, New Jersey, where the sensual Schorr will be performing a mix of classic Blues/Rock songs and her own original compositions. On Friday the 13th (7 pm) cabaret audiences will be very lucky to hear Schorr as one of the headliners in The Dana Lorge Variety Show at the Metropolitan Room. And then on Saturday June 21 (7:30 pm), Schorr will perform at Brooklyn's ShapeShifter Lab.
