The Tony Awards Administration Committee announced on May 3 that the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center will receive the 2010 Regional Theatre Tony Award, which is presented on the recommendation of the American Theatre Critics' Association. The award will be formally bestowed at the 64th Annual Tony Awards ceremony on June 13th. The American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, which are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing will air live on CBS on June 13th (8-11 p.m. ET).

In the past 125 years, plenty of things have come and gone in our society. Jubilee Theatre will conclude its production of One Mo' Time - An Evening at the Lyric 1926, a rousing musical with music that celebrates Black vaudeville of the 1920s on April 25th. Jubilee's production is directed by Tyrone King with musical direction by Joe Rogers. The original production of One Mo' Time played for over three years at the Village Gate Off-Broadway in 1979 before it was brought back to acclaim in the 2002 Broadway season.

Longtime collaborators James Lapine and John Weidman announced the renaming of Henry Miller's Theatre to the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.
