This spring, the Museum of Arts and Design presents its latest cinema series, Go Nightclubbing Archive, featuring selections from a historic video archive of the burgeoning New York punk scene from 1975 to 1980. In partnership with NYU's Fales Library, which recently acquired the archive, MAD will premiere ten individual screenings that draw from over 200 hours of remastered footage by Emily Armstrong and Pat Ivers.

The San Francisco Early Music Society's 2013-14 concert series comes to a close next month with a program of love songs and consorts performed by the Farallon Recorder Quartet with soprano Jennifer Paulino and lutenist John Lenti. Titled Amaryllis, Farallon's concert features a variety of Renaissance music from across Europe that explores the possibilities for recorder consort, lute and voice. Farallon performs today, March 14 - 16 in Palo Alto, Berkeley and San Francisco.

The ASCAP Foundation just honored Tony Award-winning lyricist and director of Annie Martin Charnin with the first-ever ASCAP Foundation George M. Cohan Award at their 18th annual Awards Ceremony last night, December 11th. The invitation-only event, hosted by ASCAP Foundation President Paul Williams, was held at the Allen Room, Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.

This year's innovative choreographers are Juilliard alumnus Takehiro Ueyama (1st-Year Dancers); Brian Brooks (2nd-Year Dancers); and Juilliard alumnus Darrell Grand Moultrie (3rd-Year Dancers).
The Eagles, have added additional dates to their busy 2013-2014 concert schedule. When it comes to the rock scene of the 70's, one of the most memorable bands from that era would have to be The Eagles. This band was so influential and popular in the 70's that 40 years later plenty of their songs can still be heard on the radio. For fans that would want to see them back in action, there will be several more opportunities to see Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit all in their splendid glory as they embark on yet another leg of their 'History of the Eagles' Tour.

The concerts will take place tonight, November 7, 2013, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, November 8 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, November 9 at 8:00 p.m.

On Saturday, July 27, two legendary Columbus jazz saxophonists, Rusty Bryant and Rahsaan Roland Kirk, took their place on the Lincoln Theatre Walk of Fame in an induction ceremony sponsored by the State Auto Insurance Companies. The Lincoln Theatre Walk of Fame honors Columbus natives who have made outstanding contributions in their respective professional careers.

Ruf Records band, Royal Southern Brotherhood, which consists of Cyril Neville (percussion and vocals), Devon Allman (guitar and vocals), Mike Zito (guitar and vocals), Charlie Wooton (bass) and Yonrico Scott (drums), continues to tour in support of the group's debut self-titled CD, produced by Grammy-winner Jim Gaines.
