Florida Studio Theatre is pleased to announce the hiring of Will Luera as the new Director of Improvisation. Luera has been working professionally in the world of Improv for the last 17 years. Serving as the Artistic Director of the renowned ImprovBoston and Big Bang Improv, Luera brings with him the experience of not only a director, but also a producer, instructor, and actor.

Written in 1973 and inspired by true events, EQUUS is certainly challenging material concerning the heavy themes of religion, sexuality, passion and normalism in society. The ensemble faces the material with unflinching conviction.

Florida Studio Theatre announces its participation in the Legacy of Valor, a campaign created by The Patterson Foundation to honor veterans and their families in Southwest Florida. FST will be teaching a series of 14 Spoken Word workshops from October through December at Booker Middle School. The theme of these workshops will be Speak! Of Service, Of Country, Of Freedom.
