A re-staging of the highly successful 2004 collaboration with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. A Soviet dissident is imprisoned in an asylum. If he accepts that his political views were due to mental illness and that he has been cured, he will be released to return to his young son. He refuses and must share a cell with a true schizophrenic who believes himself to be in command of an orchestra. This "startlingly original and ambitious," black comedy is a timely reminder that one of the worst features of tyranny is its ability to reorder reality." - The Daily Telegraph.
