The YORK THEATRE COMPANY (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) will add a performance of its hit show, ENTER LAUGHING: THE MUSICAL, on Sunday September 21st at 8 pm, in memory of Bruce Adler, who played the role of Forman in York's two previous incarnations of Enter Laughing, The Musical-in the Fall 2007 Musicals in Mufti Series, and in December 2007, when the show was brought back for an additional weekend of performances. Mr. Adler died July 25th of liver cancer; he was 63 years old. 100% of the York's revenues from the performance will go to the Adler Family, supporting an educational fund for his three surviving children.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical TELL ME ON A SUNDAY, receiving it's Chicago premiere in the Bailiwick Repertory Studio Theater, has been extended to September 26. This one-woman tour de force chronicles the journey of Emma, a free-spirited British hat designer making a new home in New York. The 39th annual Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards will be handed out on March 17 at North Hollywood's El Portal Theatre. The awards, recognizing excellence in Southern California theatre, including Los Angeles and Orange County, will be hosted by Jason Graae.

The book and lyrics for Serenade are by Rachel Sheinkin, winner of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Book of a Musical for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. She also co-authored Off-Broadway's Striking 12, which recently launched a nationwide tour. The kinetic score for Serenade, composed by Nils Olaf Dolven, mixes electronica, pop and classical elements.

Morning host Teisha Bader will be interviewing stars of Broadway, Off-Broadway and local theaters (including Paper Mill) every Wednesday at 9:30AM.
