Freddie Mercury Hologram Coming to West End's WE WILL ROCK YOU

According to the BBC, Queen frontman Freddie Mercury will be making a return to the stage the West End production of WE WILL ROCK YOU- via hologram. Mercury, who passed away in 1991, will appear in an optical illusion for the show's upcoming 10th anniversary. Queen's Brian May told the BBC that the hologram 'is something we've looked at ourselves but I think probably for a show that runs eight shows a week it's not really quite practical.'

Now running in its eighth year, Queen and Ben Elton's musical WE WILL ROCK YOU, is set to rock on through 2010. Bookings are now available through to October 2010, guaranteeing the show a further year at least at the Dominion Theatre, a wholly-owned Nederlander venue.
