Four-time GRAMMY Award winners and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominees The Doobie Brothers today announced a 30-city North American tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the band's founding. TOM JOHNSTON, MICHAEL MCDONALD, PAT SIMMONS and JOHN MCFEE will be back on tour together for the first time in nearly 25 years. The announcement came at the conclusion of the band's performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, in which they played two of their iconic albums, Toulouse Street and The Captain and Me. MICHAEL MCDONALD took to the stage during the band's encore and gave a surprise performance of The Doobie Brothers' smash hit single, “Takin' It To The Streets,” before Pat Simmons announced that the entire band would be teaming up for a North American tour.

Montalvo Arts Center will give attendees an evening to remember with its biennial gala, One Enchanted Evening. The evening will include opera superstar Renee Fleming performing classical and contemporary music, from Broadway and the Great American Songbook to Jazz and more, in Montalvo's intimate 300 seat Carriage House Theatre. Guests will also savor sumptuous cuisine by Le Papillon paired with gorgeous champagne, and dance the night away in the historic Villa. A highlight of the evening will be a high spirited live auction, featuring once-in-a-lifetime experience packages. Proceeds from the event support the Center's artistic and educational programming efforts and ongoing mission to engage the community in the creative process.

New Hampshire Theatre Project's second season of Seacoast Sessions continues with master folk musician Jeff Warner. Created in 2018, Seacoast Sessions honors seacoast performers who have regional, national and international reputations.  New Hampshire Theatre Project offers audiences a rare opportunity to see and hear master performing artists in an intimate setting with excellent acoustics, and to learn about their professional histories and how they mastered their craft. The Black Crowes' Chris and Rich Robinson will herald the thirty-year anniversary of their landmark quintuple platinum debut album Shake Your Money Maker with a world tour beginning June 17 in Austin, Texas. Tickets and VIP packages are on sale now. To celebrate the announce, the band will play two intimate shows, first at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City this evening, followed by the Troubadour in Los Angeles on November 14. Soprano Jennifer Zetlan reprises the title role in the New York City premiere of composer Ricky Ian Gordon and Pulitzer Prize winning poet Frank Bidart's Ellen West in Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center at the PROTOTYPE Festival. In the summer of 2019, Zetlan portrayed Ellen in the world premiere of the opera in Saratoga Springs, in a performance hailed by critics as 'brilliant,' 'penetrating' and 'a tour de force.'
